Actor Robert De Niro was met with applause during the Tony Awards Sunday for his diatribe on President Donald Trump.
At Sunday’s Tony Awards in New York City, the actor took the stage to introduce a musical performance by Bruce Springsteen, but not without putting POTUS in his place!
The 74-year-old received a standing ovation from the audience at Radio City Music Hall after telling them:
“I’m gonna say one thing: F*** Trump.”
And he later continued:
“It’s no longer down with Trump. It’s f*** Trump.”
